Tasting - Umberto Fiore Moscato d'Asti DOCG

Name: Umberto Fiore Moscato d'Asti DOCG
Variety: Muscat Blanc a Petits Grains
Region: Piedmont
Country: Italy
Year: 2010
Price: $15

Dallas Morning News Review: The Manfredi family makes this seriously delectable wine with seductive aromas of orange blossoms and honeysuckle, sweet flavors of peaches, melons, soft bubbles and dashing acidity to balance all that fruit in the glass. It is appropriate for all sorts of occasions: a picnic, breakfast, at a hip-hop club. You get the picture.

My Review: On the nose it had hints of peach and was very flowery.  Bubbly, smooth, sweet with apple blueberry and cotton candy flavors.  I did not have this wine with food.  This truly is a dessert wine.
